Financially Independent Visa
If you are financially independent and wish to apply for immigration to South Africa under this category, you will have to transfer an amount of R75 000 to Home Affairs plus show a net worth of R7.5m.
Financially Independent
An alternative route exists in the financially independent visa for which candidates would need to be able to demonstrate a net asset value totalling not less that R7.5 million.
In addition, it would also be necessary to demonstrate proof of payment of R75,000 as a non-refundable sum to the Director General of Home Affairs.
The application for a financially independent visa will lead to permanent residence.
You will also be required to refrain from engaging in employment or establishing your own business without the approval of the Department of Home Affairs, and to notify the Department of any change of address during the three-year period.
To find out more about this visa type, fill in the enquiry form below and let us know your criteria. Based on what you tell us we will qualify you for entry into South Africa. Once you qualify for entry we can begin the application process.
