SA Migration Services offers entrepreneurs the opportunity
to own their own marketing license of SA Migration Services.
The total number of travellers who
visited South Africa through all its ports of entry during July 2009
was up 5.8 percent year-on-year (y/y) to 2.442 million from the 2.309 million
recorded in July 2008, according to Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) data
released.
A month-on-month increase of 21.9 percent was recorded from June 2009.
South African Tourism Minister Marthinus van Schalkwyk:
“Though not immune to the global
economic downturn, tourism has so far
resisted the financial crisis better than many
other sectors, such as construction, real
estate and car manufacturing. South Africa
recorded 9,5 million arrivals in 2008, an
increase of 5,5 percent compared to 2007."
“This growth was significantly better than
the global average of two percent. Foreign
direct spend grew by 23,4 percent from
more than R60 billion in 2007, to over
R74 billion in 2008 . The total revenue
generated by tourism in 2008 also showed
an excellent growth rate of 23,5 percent.”
Tourism has been identified as one of the
priorities of government’s Accelerated and
Shared Growth Initiative for South Africa
(AsgiSA).
South Africa is the flavour of the decade and we would like
you to join us by representing SAMI in your
country.
Support
As the license offered is a marketing opportunity, the reams
of paperwork required by an immigrant, will be processed by
SA Migration Services. Situated adjacent to the Dept of Home
Affairs in Cape Town, the company has built up a good working
relationship with the officials and staff of the department.
The highly trained staff at the head office will be on hand
to assist with any queries.
Advertising
The SA Migration Services website is one of the main sources
of clients. It has proved to be a source of clients not only
from within South Africa, but also overseas people searching
for guidance in immigrating to South Africa.
In
order to attract clients that are visiting South Africa, front
page ads are placed in daily newspapers and usually in colour.
Training
Lincensees will be required to spend time working in the offices
of SA Migration Services. This hands on experience will give
licensees the inside track on the processes required to successfully
process applications.
Training
will also cover identifying prospective immigrants and sourcing
business from ancillary businesses eg travel agents, tour
guides and real estate agents. These can dramatically increase
turnover.
